About
On Thursday, April 10 Nichols will host its annual Grandparents & Friends Day in the Middle School. This day is not only an opportunity for students to showcase their achievements, but also a chance for them to express their love and appreciation for you, their grandparents and/or special friends in their lives.
Guests will enjoy a glimpse into life at Nichols. The day will start at 10:30 a.m. in The Flickinger Performing Art Center with a message from Head of Middle School Greg Plumb about your day. Next you will be escorted to the Student Commons to enjoy lunch with your grandchild and/or friend (plus their friends!). From there you will move to the Middle School as you follow in the footsteps of a Nichols middle schooler with classroom visits and activities; and the day will wrap up with a message from our Head of School, Chris Burner and Head of Middle School, Greg Plumb.
Grandparents and Friends Day is a wonderful tradition where we are able to show family members what students’ life is like at Nichols. Special friends can be anyone in the students life who would like to attend, including extended family members, neighbors, family friends, or any other individual that has had an impact on the students life. All accompanying guests must be 18 years of age or older.
