I'm proud that our Class of '76 would choose to honor the Nichols Faculty in this way.

As a (now retired) high school teacher for 30+ years, I continue to value my wonderful teachers at Nichols. To name just a few: Peter Amershadian, Susan Shapiro, Mr. Cockerill, Mr. Clash, Mr. Waltz, Mr. Fox, Ms. Hanmer... I will forever appreciate their kindness and thoughtfulness, as well as their patience and excellent advice. All opened my mind and my world.

In honor of Marjorie Gardner

I was fortunate to take courses with five of the educators pictured, as well as many others.

Our class holds a unique place in the history of Nichols. Together with our incredible teachers, we broke down many barriers. Let’s keep this award going to honor the faculty who inspired us to reach higher and change the world!
