About
On Thursday, October 15 Nichols will host its annual Grandparents & Friends Day in the Middle School. This day is not only an opportunity for students to showcase their achievements, but also a chance for them to express their love and appreciation for their grandparents and/or special friends in their lives.
Guests will enjoy a glimpse into life at Nichols. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and the day will start at 10:45 a.m. in the Class of ‘61 Student Commons with a welcome message from our Interim Head of School Scott Reisinger. Next, grandparents/friends will get to enjoy lunch with their grandchild and/or friend (plus their classmates!). From there grandparents/friends will move to the Middle School and follow the middle school schedule with three classroom visits and activities; and the day will wrap up with performances from our middle school students.
Grandparents and Friends Day is a wonderful tradition where we are able to show family members what students’ life is like at Nichols. Special friends can be anyone in the student’s life who would like to attend, including extended family members, neighbors, family friends, or any other individual that has had an impact on the student’s life.
Please note: to accommodate all of our special guests comfortably, we are unable to host entire families on this day. No more than four guests per student, and all accompanying guests must be 18 years of age or older.
